Sumario:The genus Lichtheimia is the third-most frequent genus isolated in mucormycosis. We report a cutaneous case caused by Lichtheimia ramosa, localized on the face of a pediatric patient, in the context of acute liver failure and caloric malnutrition. Several surgeries and treatment with liposomal amphotericin B enabled the patient’s favorable evolution.
