Sumario:This qualitative research aimed to survey the various resilience strategies for maintaining productive continuity implemented by producers in the department of Pirané, province of Formosa, from 2010 to 2025. The study revealed significant transformations in agro-productive systems, particularly the gradual abandonment of cotton cultivation and the frequent occurrence of critical climatic situations that had a negative impact on the sector’s productivity. This scenario had profound consequences on the agricultural structure. A part of the rural population migrated, while the families that remained and continue to be linked to agricultural activity were forced to deploy various adaptation strategies. In this context, resilience manifests as the ability of these rural families to resist, reconfigure and sustain their way of life in the face of adverse and persistent conditions. The conclusions obtained provide a valuable contribution to furthering our understanding of producers who remain active despite facing multiple crises. These findings enhance our comprehension of contemporary rural dynamics and provide important insights for the development of proposals aimed at Rural Development.
