In this regard, the use of plastics from waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE), stabilized by means of the Core-shell strategy, is considered. In this work, the physical and mechanical characterization of mortars made with this type of materials is extended with a study of their thermal behavior. Methodologically, experimental quali-quantitative research is proposed. In analytical terms, the results of the thermal conductivity of different types of mortars made with core-shell aggregates and other light aggregates for load relief are presented. Thermal conductivity was determined according to IRAM Standard 11559:1995 and correlated with the density of the material. The results obtained show a decrease in the thermal conductivity of the mortars, with values between 0.15 and 0.20 W/mK, which is presented as an advantage to promote their use in construction El empleo de materiales reciclados en la construcción resulta significativo para el contexto actual. Al respecto, se pondera el uso de plásticos de residuos de aparatos electrónicos y eléctricos (RAEE), estabilizados mediante la estrategia Core-shell. En este trabajo se amplía la caracterización física y mecánica de morteros elaborados con este tipo de materiales, con un estudio específico sobre su comportamiento térmico. Metodológicamente, se propone una investigación experimental, cuali-cuantitativa. En términos analíticos, se presentan los resultados de la conductividad térmica de diferentes tipos de morteros elaborados con agregados Core-shell y otros agregados para alivianar la carga. La conductividad térmica se determinó de acuerdo con la Norma IRAM 11559:1995 y se correlacionó con la densidad del material.
