Sumario:Urbanization processes towards peripheral areas raise questions about the effects of policies implemented by provincial housing institutes, following the neoliberal reforms of the 1990s. The overall objective is to understand the role of collective equipment in the process of forming new centralities, taking as case study four state neighborhoods: La Nueva Formosa (Formosa), Itaembé Guazú (Misiones), Santa Catalina (Corrientes) and Mujeres Argentinas (Chaco). Results are presented from an ongoing investigation, carried out within the framework of a research project that investigates metropolization processes in capital cities of the Argentinian northeast.
