| Sumario: | This study compares the forage production of Brachiaria brizantha from a silvopastoral and an open-air system and the wood production within each system using two commercial clones (2155 and 2136) of Eucalyptus grandis that produced 132 and 110 m3/ha. respectively at 7 years of growth. The results showed significant differences between the clones, where the growth of clone 2155 was superior to clone 2136 in terms of DBH, height, wood volume and crown height at the seventh. Regarding forage production, the open-air system showed yields with significant differences in dry matter (1885 kg/ha) compared to that produced on average under the silvopastoral system (1181 kg/ha). |
