The sedimentary unit under study comprises two formations: the Cañadón Largo Formation (lower section, Upper Ladinian–Lower Carnian) and Laguna Colorada Formation (upper section, Norian–? Sinemurian). These two continental formations are separated by an unconformity caused by tectonic uplift and volcanic activity during the Upper Triassic. New collections have revealed the presence of Dicroidium matatifolium, D. dutoitii, and D. coriaceum (Umkomasiales), as well as Pachydermophyllum praecordillerae (Peltaspermales), in the Cañadón Largo Formation. In contrast, Equisetites patagonica (Equisetales), Neocalamites carrerei (Equisetales incertae sedis) and D. crassum (Umkomasiales) were identified in the Laguna Colorada Formation. Thus, these new records enrich the palaeobotanical record of Triassic megaflora in Santa Cruz through the description of new taxa in the ‘El Tranquilo Group’, including four species of Dicroidium, one species each of Equisetites and Neocalamites, and Pachydermophyllum. En esta contribución se dan a conocer los nuevos registros de estructuras vegetativas hallados en el Grupo El Tranquilo, Santa Cruz, Argentina. La unidad sedimentaria en estudio está integrada por dos formaciones: Cañadón Largo (sección inferior) y Laguna Colorada (sección superior, Noriano–?Sinemuriano). Las dos unidades tienen un origen continental, las cuales están separadas por una discordancia debido al levantamiento tectónico y a la actividad volcánica durante el Triásico Superior. A partir de nuevas colecciones en la Formación Cañadón Largo se registró la presencia de Dicroidium matatifolium, D. dutoitii, D. coriaceum (Umkomasiales) y Pachydermophyllum praecordillerae (Peltaspermales). Por otro lado, en la Formación Laguna Colorada se reconoció Equisetites patagonica (Equisetales), Neocalamites carrerei (Equisetales incertae sedis), y D. crassum (Umkomasiales). De esta manera se enriquecen los registros paleobotánicos de la megaflora triásica de Santa Cruz, mediante la descripción de nuevos taxones en el Grupo El Tranquilo, de los cuales cuatro especies corresponden a Dicroidium, una especie a Equisetites, una a Neocalamites, y una a Pachydermophyllum.
