Sumario:In the context of the current economy, knowledge is recognized as the most important productive factor. Since the emergence of informational capitalism, networked work has gained relevance. These networks are emerging as new forms of organization that promote modes of open innovation, with a positive impact on cities and regions by fostering wealth creation and the promotion of qualified employment. This paper aims to analyze the networks of knowledge and information transfer among companies in the software industry in the city of Concepción del Uruguay. To achieve this objective, surveys were conducted with companies in the aforementioned city, and the data were analyzed primarily using Social Network Analysis techniques. It is observed that both, tacit and codified knowledge, circulate through these exchange networks, but companies have not yet managed to integrate into truly significant structures.
