Sumario:The citrus genetic improvement program developed by INTA's Concordia Agricultural Experimental Station has led to the development of three new tangerine varieties: Criolla INTA SS, Yvoty INTA and Tardía INTA. These varieties are differentiated by their high quality, adaptability and different harvest periods, contributing to increased diversification and competitiveness in the citrus sector. Each variety has unique attributes that make them appealing in the market: Criolla INTA SS features seedless fruit and early ripening, Yvoty INTA combines excellent organoleptic quality with disease tolerance, and Tardía INTA allows for an extended tangerine supply due to its ability to stay on the tree without losing quality.
