| Sumario: | The article analyzes the socioeconomic, labor, and housing conditions in the province of Chaco, Argentina, based on the construction of census indicators from 2010 and 2022. It proposes an approach aimed at understanding transformations in housing distribution, labor market composition, and unmet basic needs, with the objective of providing elements for public policy formulation and regional development planning. In the housing sphere, the study examines homeownership and household composition, highlighting the relevance of these aspects in territorial planning and the search for strategies to improve access to adequate housing. In the labor field, issues related to employment formality and informality, labor market participation, and job opportunities in a context characterized by structural inequalities are addressed. Furthermore, the analysis of socioeconomic deprivation is incorporated through the Unmet Basic Needs indicator, aiming to highlight gaps in access to essential goods and services. Based on these elements, the study seeks to contribute to a better understanding of living conditions in the province and generate inputs that may be useful for future research and the formulation of policies aimed at reducing inequalities. |
