Sumario:There is a broad consensus in the field of specialized criticism in the work of Raúl Zurita regarding the recognition of a variety of textual inscription procedures that produce a displacement with respect to the topical formats of literary communication. Particularly, many of his poetic and actions interventions materialize from an ostensible displacement with respect to the traditional signifier. For this reason, the book object will on various occasions assume the status of a subsidiary space that will receive interventions initially carried out in various material supports, including the author's own corporality. In that order, the notion of “material writing” will be operative in order to recognize, in the survey of some of the most notable Zuritean productions, the centrality of the dialectic between writing and inscription, anchored in a programmatic indistinction between literary text and plastic arts and in the generalized articulation between constructive components coming from diverse material universes.
