Sumario:The objective of this paper is to develop an analysis of the evolution of the cost structure for a cattle breeding production model in Argentina between 2012 and 2024. A descriptive and analytical quantitative approach is used based on historical data from livestock economic results reports. Through statistical analysis, cost trends and their impact on profitability are evaluated. In addition, the correlation between the different cost items and economic indicators is calculated to identify patterns and relationships. The main conclusions indicate that costs related to structure and taxes have increased significantly and are determining factors in the growth of total costs. On the other hand, marketing costs show a high positive correlation with profitability, while personnel costs have a negative impact. These findings underline the importance of applying strategies that optimize marketing costs and minimize structural costs to improve the profitability and economic sustainability of the livestock business.
