Sumario:Objective: This research aimed to analyze the spatial distribution of the postneonatal mortality rate in the Argentine provinces during the period 2018, and to establish the influence of socioeconomic factors on it.Methods: An ecological study was used that evaluates the association in multiple group studies, with regression models. Likewise, global and local spatial clustering techniques.Results: The existence of statistically significant clusters with high postneonatal mortality rates in the jurisdictions of the northeast and low postneonatal mortality rates in the jurisdictions of southern Argentina was confirmed. Conclusion: The findings of the study suggest that socioeconomic factors and spatial interdependence play a fundamental role in the postneonatal mortality rate.
