Sumario:This paper proposes a research project from the perspective of Applied Physical Geography aimed at exploring the application of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) in urban environments in southwest Buenos Aires as a contribution to urban sustainability and resilience. Resilient and sustainable cities are those that can adapt to challenges by implementing strategies that promote changes in people's lifestyles, respecting nature, and making efficient use of resources. The proposal focuses on urbanization patterns and environmental sustainability, extreme weather events in the context of climate change, urban water, and rainfall dynamics, and green infrastructure as part of NbS. This research aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 11, promoting more inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities.
