Sumario:This article studies the representations of teachers and their work, during the COVID-19 pandemic, in internet memes. The main teaching communities have been identified in virtual social networks (Instagram and Facebook) of some countries in the Ibero-American region (Argentina, Spain, Mexico and Uruguay). Within a qualitative approach, a virtual or digital ethnographic analysis of the memes that circulated has been carried out. As a result, an ethnographic record has been composed, which integrates image and text, with the aim of delving into the symbolic construction of the figure of educators and their world, as they have experienced it during the pandemic.
