Sumario:This work describes a project developed by FaCENA and the Municipality of YatayTi Calle in the province of Corrientes, Argentina. The project aimed to create a RuralDigital Point to improve digital literacy in rural communities with little access todigital platforms. The project was structured in three phases: the design of a qualityand operational manual, the construction of a web application and the launch ofthe Rural Digital Point in Yatay Ti Calle as a pilot test. Practices based on the ISO9001 standard were adopted to ensure the quality of the service and as a mechanism for replication and improvement of other possible Rural Digital Points in the rest ofthe province. The operational manual included general and specific procedures toguarantee an effective quality management system as indicated by regulations. Theproject also planned an annual quality plan and conducted internal and external auditsfor continuous improvement. The main result was the creation of a documentary andtechnological system replicable for other rural locations, improving communicationand transparency between citizens and public administration.
