The results were divided into threegroups based on the level of satisfaction with the orthodontic treatment: very satisfied, somewhat satisfied,and not satisfied at all. Descriptive statistics and ANOVAtest were conducted using the Stat Calc program.The average time to complete the questionnaire was4.9 years. 45% of the patients were somewhat satisfiedwith the treatment. The ANOVA test found statisticallysignificant differences between the groups regardingchanges made by the treatment, information receivedduring the treatment, and customer service questions.The main differences in satisfaction with orthodontictreatment were related to the care and communicationbetween the patient and the orthodontist. Patients inthe dissatisfied group reported greater discomfort andpain with the use of anchorage devices.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar la satisfacción de los pacientes durante el tratamiento de ortodoncia en términos de percepción de atención, molestia y dolor. La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva, transversal y observacional. A 107 pacientes, se les realizó el cuestionario de satisfacción de los resultados de ortodoncia, la calidad de atención y la percepción del dolor y molestia durante el tratamiento de ortodoncia. Los resultados fueron separados en tres grupos según el nivel de satisfacción al tratamiento de ortodoncia: muy satisfechos, más o menos y para nada satisfechos. Se realizó estadística descriptiva y la prueba de ANOVA en el programa Stat Calc. El promedio de finalizado el cuestionario fue de 4.9 años. El 45% estaba más o menos satisfechocon el tratamiento. Con la prueba de ANOVA se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre los grupos en los cambios realizados por el tratamiento, en la información recibida durante el tratamiento y en las preguntas de atención al cliente. Las principales diferencias en la satisfacción del tratamiento de ortodoncia tienen que ver con la atención y comunicación entre el paciente y el ortodoncista. Los pacientes del grupo no satisfecho con el tratamiento refirieron mayores molestias y dolor con el uso de dispositivos de anclaje.  O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a satisfação dospacientes durante o tratamento ortodôntico quanto àpercepção de cuidado, desconforto e dor. A pesquisa foidescritiva, transversal e observacional. 107 pacientesreceberam um questionário de satisfação em relaçãoaos resultados ortodônticos, qualidade do atendimentoe percepção de dor e desconforto durante o tratamentoortodôntico. Os resultados foram separados em três grupos de acordo com o nível de satisfação com o tratamento ortodôntico: muito satisfeito, mais ou menos satisfeito e nada satisfeito. A estatística descritiva e o testeANOVA foram realizados no programa Stat Calc. A médiade preenchimento do questionário foi de 4,9 anos.45% ficaram mais ou menos satisfeitos com o tratamento.Com o teste ANOVA foram encontradas diferençasestatísticas significativas entre os grupos nas alteraçõesrealizadas pelo tratamento, nas informações recebidasdurante o tratamento e nas dúvidas de atendimento. Asprincipais diferenças na satisfação com o tratamentoortodôntico têm a ver com o cuidado e a comunicaçãoentre o paciente e o ortodontista. Os pacientes do grupoinsatisfeito com o tratamento relataram maior desconfortoe dor com o uso dos dispositivos de ancoragem.
