Sumario:The objective of this article is to analyze the reconfiguration of the armed conflict in Caquetá in the context of the post-peace agreement with the FARC-EP. On the one hand, it refers to how FARC-EP dissidents, armed groups that did not join the process, dispute the areas occupied by the former guerrilla and seek to establish criminal governance; on the other hand, with respect to the illicit market linked to coca, which is in a state of decline due to the deconcentration of the sown area. The methodological strategy used consisted of the collection of aggregate statistical information and a systematic review of documents from state entities. Among the results, it is highlighted that the fragmentation of military structures characteristic of the dissidences, as well as the reduction of coca crops, are the main causes of the armed violence that occurs in the dispute for the illegal governance of the territories.
