| Sumario: | This article aims to address the problematic justification of violence in politics and its foundations based on the texts of Frantz Fanon, Hannah Arendt, and Carl Schmitt, namely Les damnés de la terre (1961), On Violence (1969) and Der Begriff des Politischen (1932) respectively. The objective is to reflect on the problematic nature of considering the use of violence in politics as a legitimate tool for transformation in contexts of oppression. By delving into the authors, we will explore the possibilities and scope of justifying resistance against different oppressive technologies devised by power structures. |
