| Sumario: | A representation of the configuration of the image of the city of Corrientes is proposed, focused on the analysis of block 49. Aspects linked to subdivision and land occupation are considered. Ancient and current measurements are explored; lithographs, engravings, photographs, and drawings, as well as traveler's stories. Other documents provide valuable information, such as chapter minutes, letters, newspapers and magazines. It is observed that the image forged of the colonial city in the existing bibliography is not verified in the analyzed block. The reconstruction addressed is open to future interpretations and research. |
