| Sumario: | The residential urban expansion and the various land uses that are developed in the Tres Horquetas Area are topics of study in this work, therefore, a methodology based on qualitative and quantitative techniques has been used, based on the use of data provided. by primary and secondary information sources, including: geographic databases, bibliographic information, in situ observation, satellite images from the Landsat/Copernicus platform and the results of interviews.
It is proposed to analyze the discontinuous urban expansion of Paraje Tres Horquetas, Colonia Benítez, Chaco, in the period 2002 - 2022, the changes in urban/residential land uses, the increase in the built surface, the impacts and negative externalities in the environment such as the displacement of local economic activities, pollution from the proliferation of waste deposits in areas close to new urbanizations, socioeconomic contrasts between the way of life of the local population and that of those who reside temporarily.
