Sumario:This case report describes a clinical case of a complex odontoma and analyzes its diagnosis and clinical and radiographic evolution over several years. Odontomas are common odontogenic malformations that can be related to hereditary factors, trauma, or infections. They are classified into two types: compound and complex. In this case, a complex odontoma was found in an asymptomatic patient during a routine radiographic examination. Despite the recommended surgical extraction of the odontoma, it was decided to keep it in the mouth due to the absence of associated pathological problems and lack of interference with dental eruption. Long term follow-up is suggested to evaluate the patient's oral health. This case highlights the importance of regular check-ups to detect oral pathologies and the need to evaluate each individual case to determine the most appropriate treatment.
