Sumario:The present article aims to explore some central aspects of Kierkegaard theory of subjectivity. For this purpose, I reconstruct and discuss some chapters of Andrew Petzinger’s recently published book Deleuze, Kierkegaard and the Ethics of Selfhood. First, and following Petzinger, I will try to establish what place Deleuze gives to Kierkegaard in the post-Kantian history of subjectivity. Then, I will offer an interpretation of the first chapter of The Sickness unto Death based on the notion of «familiarity with oneself».
