That is, in this writing I propose to describe and critically reflect on the first steps of insertion into the field of work, on the mechanisms and tools used, the methodological decisions made and the vicissitudes encountered. In this work, the emphasis is placed on the ways of carrying out the task, that is, on the “behind the scenes” of the production of knowledge, therefore we will refer to the procedures that are carried out from the moment of starting the task until the previous moment of analysis of results. Finally, we offer a story about the field work carried out around the research topic where the subjectivity and positioning of the researcher is revealed. El objetivo del presente escrito es relatar parte del proceso de inserción y trabajo en campo realizado en el desarrollo de una investigación empírica sobre “Subjetividades y derechos sexuales y reproductivos en juventudes de pueblos originarios la provincia de Tucumán”, en la que se trabajó con metodología cualitativa realizando entrevistas en profundidad a jóvenes usuarios/as de servicios de salud públicos y a trabajadores/as de dichos servicios. Se entrevistó también a referentes comunitarios y, por último, se realizaron observaciones de campo. Es decir, en este escrito nos proponemos describir y reflexionar críticamente sobre los primeros pasos de inserción en el campo del trabajo, sobre los mecanismos y herramientas empleadas, las decisiones metodológicas asumidas y los avatares encontrados. En este trabajo, el acento está puesto en los modos de realización de la tarea, en el “detrás de escena” de la producción del conocimiento, por ello haremos referencia a los procedimientos que se realizan desde el momento de iniciar la tarea hasta el momento previo de análisis de resultados. Finalmente, ofrecemos un relato sobre el trabajo de campo realizado en torno al tema de investigación. Centro de Estudio Sociales.
