A mainly descriptive approach is adopted, aimed at portray the plot lines of each of the nine chapters that compose it and reveal their common elements. Thereby, the book highlights a rigorous critique of methodological positivism described by the author with great argumentative strength. Throughout, the text represents a real challenge to positivism and a must-read for anyone who wishes to take seriously his reflections on law. Esta reseña recupera las principales ideas desarrolladas por Guillermo Lariguet en su libro “La dimensión moral del derecho”. Se adopta un enfoque principalmente descriptivo, orientado a reconstruir las líneas argumentales de cada uno de los nueve capítulos que lo componen y revelar sus elementos en común. Así, se destaca en el libro una rigurosa crítica al positivismo metodológico elaborada por el autor con una gran solidez argumentativa. En su conjunto, el texto representa un verdadero reto para el positivismo y una lectura obligada para cualquiera que pretenda tomarse en serio sus reflexiones acerca del derecho.
