Sumario:This review recovers the main ideas developed by Guillermo Lariguet in his book “The moral dimension of law”. A mainly descriptive approach is adopted, aimed at portray the plot lines of each of the nine chapters that compose it and reveal their common elements. Thereby, the book highlights a rigorous critique of methodological positivism described by the author with great argumentative strength. Throughout, the text represents a real challenge to positivism and a must-read for anyone who wishes to take seriously his reflections on law.
