Among them, Schultz de Mantonvani was the only one to ever produce drama-writing of her own. Their outlook on the texts they reviewed are of varied quality. In addition, they were not specialists on the matter.This article brings back long-forgotten reviews made by important collaborators. Their voices have been recklessly silenced due to editorial neglect. The research also evaluates their relevance in drama-reviewing. Además de Alicia Jurado, cuatro escritoras publicaron reseñas de textos teatrales en la revista Sur en las décadas de 1950 y 1960. Son Vera Macarow, Graziella Peyrou, Fryda Schultz de Mantovani y María Luisa Bastos. Entre ellas, solo Schultz de Mantovani produjo obra dramática propia. Sin ser especialistas en el género, dejaron reflexiones de distinto valor sobre los volúmenes que observaron.Este trabajo rescata publicaciones olvidadas de autoras que hicieron colaboraciones importantes en la revista, con voces hoy silenciadas por el tiempo y por desinterés editorial, a la vez que evalúa la competencia que tenían para la tarea encomendada.
