In this context, the aim of the work is to analyze the forms of the land and its associated processes, based on the morphology (longitudinal and transversal) of the slopes in Sauce Corto’s upper basin [SC]. From the combination of the three curvatures of the profile and the plane (in both cases: concave, convex and rectilinear), nine forms of slopes were established. The upper basin of SC has a higher frequency of rectilinear-planar terrain forms, associated with non-concentrated water circulation and water stagnation. They are followed in order of importance by the convex-convergent and the concave-divergent slopes.Their analysis made it possible to describe the curvatures and their association with the processes and geoforms in the study area in order to contribute to the analysis of one of the factors that define flood hazard. El arroyo Sauce Corto (ASC) presenta una respuesta diferencial ante la ocurrencia de eventos de origen hidrometeorológicos. Los estudios sobre las características topográficas y sus dimensiones asociadas son de relevancia para comprender las causas que conforman al peligro de inundación. En este contexto, el objetivo del trabajo es analizar las formas del terreno y sus procesos asociados, en función de la morfología (longitudinal y transversal) de las vertientes de la cuenca alta del arroyo Sauce Corto (CASC). A partir de la combinación de las tres curvaturas del perfil y del plano se establecieron nueve formas de vertientes. La CASC posee mayor frecuencia de formas del terreno rectilíneas-planares, asociadas a circulación de agua no concentrada y estancamiento del agua. Le siguen en orden de importancia las vertientes convexo-convergentes y las cóncavo-divergente. Su análisis posibilitó describir y comprender los procesos de escorrentía que tienen incidencia directa en la cuenca media - baja.
