Sumario:The article addresses the resignification of the character of Antigone in the figure of the Uruguayan poet, pedagogue, and feminist Luisa Luisi through the concept of “parrhesia” (Michel Foucault). I explore how Antigone's parrhesiastic attitude was embodied in the presence and speech of Luisi at the funeral of Julio C.
