| Sumario: | We analyze a paper by Angelica Mendoza, entitled "Secreto de Puebla", as a critical exercise in History of Ideas in relation with her discursive production between the 1940s and 1950s. Under the assumption that her travel experience affects the choice of her object of philosophical reflection and crosses her modes of expression, we recover her work as a philosopher and historian. Attentive to the contribution of feminist epistemologies, we propose a re-reading of her theoretical production in the context of the institutionalization of the History of Latin American Ideas, to later give an account of the singularity of her analysis on the baroque of Puebla in relation to one of her research stays in Mexico. |
