| Sumario: | The objective of this work is to analyze the payment mechanisms for hydrological services and water funds, mechanisms focused on the maintenance and conservation of hydrological services through the preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems. In this sense, the conservation of these bodies of water can provide the ecosystem services that the community needs to obtain potable and quality water for consumption, in addition to ensuring their protection. A case of implementation of the Water Fund will also be analyzed, specifically in Quito Ecuador, to determine the effectiveness of the system. |
