Sumario:The lower basin of the Saladillo de García stream, on which the northwestern and western peri-urban area of the city of Bahía Blanca develops, has undergone in recent years a notable intervention resulting from the development of urbanization and related activities. The complex and accelerated process of reconversion in land uses triggers various effects on the hydrographic and geomorphological dynamics of the sector, giving it a new imprint. The urban and industrial expansion mainly produced changes in the configuration of the drainage network in areas prone to flooding and waterlogging mainly to the low values of the land slopes. Therefore, the objective of this work is to identify the changes in the layout of the hydrographic network induced by the anthropic action. In these areas, naturally affected by flooding and waterlogging, a hydrogeomorphological configuration strongly influenced by the diversity in land uses was observed, recognizing different anthropic interventions such as the rectification and channeling of river courses and rectilinear sections adapted to the urban layout.
