Husserl (1859-1938) pone a las situaciones dolorosas como guerras, catástrofes naturales, azar, enfermedades, etc. En este trabajo nos queremos preguntar: ¿qué se puede hacer frente al sufrimiento? La respuesta quiere ser más una descripción de una experiencia posible que el análisis de un concepto, en fidelidad al método fenomenológico. La tesis que queremos defender es que, a pesar de y en situaciones dolorosas, las personas toman decisiones éticas que brotan, en última instancia, de valores. Y la humanidad progresa hacia lo mejor.Lo que proponemos es una hermenéutica de un texto del Nachlass del filósofo de 1923 y titulado Valor de la vida. Valor del mundo. Moralidad (virtud) y felicidad. La lectura de este manuscrito se enriquecerá por la añadidura de otros textos husserlianos.   AbstractThe difficult times we are going through have shown us that, if the question about the meaning of pain is unavoidable, at the same time, it is unintelligible in some situations. It exceeds rationality: it is irrational. This is the label that Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) gives to painful situations such as wars, natural catastrophes, fate, illnesses, etc.In this paper we want to ask: what can be done in the face of suffering? The answer is more a description of a possible experience than the analysis of a concept, in fidelity to the phenomenological method. The thesis we want to defend is that, in spite of and in painful situations, people make ethical decisions that spring, ultimately, from values. And humanity progresses towards the best.What we propose is a hermeneutic of a text from the philosopher’s Nachlass of 1923 entitled Value of life. Value of the world. Morality (virtue) and happiness. The reading of this manuscript will be enriched by the addition of other husserlian texts. Facultad de Teología.
