It explores the tensions between the official curriculum and the curriculum in action, identifying the emergence of an integrated knowledge code and pedagogical practices committed to the development of critical thinking. Through the analysis of teaching practices, it reflects on the political meanings of the curriculum, the conditions of schooling, and the possibilities for a fairer education in contexts of inequality. Este artículo analiza el Plan FinEs II en una sede de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, durante 2019, desde una perspectiva que articula la sociología de la educación y la didáctica. Se indagan las tensiones entre el currículum oficial versus el currículum en acción y se identifica la emergencia de un código de conocimiento integrado y prácticas pedagógicas comprometidas con el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico. A partir del análisis de prácticas docentes, se reflexiona sobre los sentidos políticos del currículum, las condiciones de escolarización y las posibilidades de una educación más justa en contextos de desigualdad.
