Sumario:This document analyzes Chile's current higher education policy for students with special educational needs (SEN), addressing key concepts and the related legislative framework. It recognizes that formal educational processes are essential for social and cultural integration, and that state policies are crucial for ensuring support and equity. From a theoretical perspective, authors of diverse nationalities and Chilean laws, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. The methodology is based on documentary analysis, examining support, accessibility, and continuity strategies from the perspective of educational guidance, citizenship education, and the curriculum in higher education. The purpose is to offer tools, analyses, and proposals that strengthen access, continuity, and job placement for students with special educational needs (SEN), contributing to their personal development and the progress of society as a whole.
