Sumario:The initial training process aims to train professionals capable of performing in the workplace. The objective of the study was to describe the assessment of teacher training at a public university (Córdoba, Argentina) from the student perspective (N=254), of four teaching courses that involve artistic-corporal knowledge and practices. Using an ad-hoc questionnaire, some indicators of the training process were investigated, such as difficulties in taking the course and satisfaction with the training received. The level of difficulty of all training fields is rated as moderate, being higher in teaching practice. There is greater satisfaction with training practices than with theoretical and methodological teaching. The level of conformity seems to be linked to the reasons for choosing the course: personal taste and specific corporal practices. It is concluded that the assessment that students make of their training is positive in all courses.
