description The purpose of this study is to deepen the knowledge of the organizations created by Argentine citizens residing abroad, as one of the strategies that characterizes this group of migrants. The organization of the article is as follows: First we characterize the phenomenon of migration, particularly that of the Argentines. In addition, we will seek greater conceptual clarity in the definition of ―Argentine residents associations abroad‖ due to the variety and heterogeneity that is observed in them. The second part will present the results of an empirical study which will be used to support a more detailed report on the existence and characteristics of the functioning of these organizations.
