Sumario:Abstract: The issue of reasonable time of processes as a part of jurisdictional protection, based on the precedents of the Inter-American Court, is consider in the light of international treaties that have set general parameters within which the processes must be conducted. Six Argentine cases of inter-American jurisprudence – the ultimate interpreter of the American Convention – were considered, analysing the Court criteria, recommendations and the elements taken into account to determine the reasonableness of the term of judicial processes.
