To give a possible explanation to its inner development -taking into account it was a rite of passage- we apply the Turner’s phases of the ritual and the characterizations of liminal subjects to the main actor of the rite, the Egyptian king. Resumen: Uno de los aspectos de la antigua sociedad egipcia que mayor fascinación ejerció –y ejerce- sobre el lego y el erudito es el de la religión: ríos de tinta corrieron tratando de explicar sus creencias, plagadas de dioses y rituales. Entre la numerosa producción escrita al respecto, podemos detectar que las aproximaciones abarcan un gradiente que va desde la pura enumeración y descripción –donde es posible- de cada uno de las deidades o de las festividades1, hasta una mucho más profunda interpretación de esa forma de pensamiento, basada en el análisis de articulaciones inteligibles de sus representaciones simbólicas. 2020-09-01T17:39:47Z 2020-09-01T17:39:47Z 2003 Artículo Flammini, R.
