To think the investigation about the scenic arts poses the problem of the relation between the artistic boarding and the scientific research. This one seems a problem overcome in the university context of Brazil. Nevertheless, in the last twenty years we observed a systematic growth of the programs of postgraduate in the area, in which the tensions between doing and investigating persist.
