We are specifically referring to a certain degree of deterioration in some epistemological and basic guidelines of our discipline -the scope of the research and the anthropological question of a text. This paper explores the formulation and the challenges of these analytic tools, taking into account methodological, epistemological, moral and political perspectives. It does not pretend to crystallize definitions nor offer textbook techniques, but simply to outline some reflections, with ultimate pedagogical aims. Hace ya tiempo que venimos percibiendo, en nuestra calidad de docentes y investigadoras, ciertas dificultades -sobre todo en estudiantes y graduados recientes- en la construcción de investigaciones antropológicas. Nos referimos, puntualmente, a cierto grado de deterioro en algunos lineamientos epistemológicos propios de nuestro quehacer -el recorte de la investigación y la pregunta antropológica de un texto. Este trabajo explora la formulación y los desafíos de esas herramientas en función de lecturas metodológicas, epistemológicas, morales y políticas. No pretende cristalizar definiciones ni brindar técnicas o procedimientos de manual, sino apuntar algunas simples reflexiones, con objetivos finalmente pedagógicos. Há algum tempo que percebemos, como professoras e pesquisadoras, certas dificuldades -principalmente em estudantes e recém-formados- na construção de pesquisas antropológicas. Referimo-nos pontualmente a um certo grau de deterioração em algumas diretrizes epistemológicas típicas de nosso trabalho -o recorte da pesquisa e a questão antropológica de um texto. Este trabalho explora a formulação e os desafios dessas ferramentas com base em leituras metodológicas, epistemológicas, morais e políticas. Não pretende cristalizar definições ou fornecer técnicas, mas sim apontar algumas reflexões simples, com objetivos finalmente pedagógicos.
