This article presents the pathways involved in conducting research and training both Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers, based on experiences involving the Xakriabá Indigenous people. It begins with the problematization of a scientific investigation, broken down into the stages of research proposal, development, identification of possible “applications,” and, later, the proposition of “returns” or “counterparts” to the groups involved. It seeks to focus on learning to do research in co-presence with those directly affected by the consequences of the investigation, as a practice of “self-regulation” of scientific production. It draws on a revisited notion of “communities of practice” (Lave, 2019) and connects it to the idea of “practices in common” (Stengers, 2015) to explore, across different research settings, how relationships define the situated framing of the investigation, as well as how they give rise to a composition of practices that brings together different practitioners in an articulation aimed at responding to diverse interests. |

Este artículo presenta los caminos del desarrollo de la investigación y la formación de investigadores indígenas y no-indígenas, basándose en experiencias con el pueblo indígena Xakriabá. Parte de la problematización de una investigación científica, dividida en las etapas de propuesta de la investigación, desarrollo, identificación de posibles “aplicaciones” y, posteriormente, la propuesta de “retornos” o “contrapartidas” para los grupos involucrados. Busca centrarse en el aprendizaje de cómo hacer investigación en co-presencia con quienes son directamente afectados por las consecuencias de la situación investigativa, como una práctica de “autorregulación” de la producción científica. Parte de la proposición revisitada de “comunidades de práctica” (Lave, 2019) y la articula con la noción de “prácticas en común” (Stengers, 2015) para explorar, en distintos escenarios de investigación, cómo las relaciones definen el encuadre situado de la investigación, así como también dan lugar a una composición de prácticas que reúne a diferentes practicantes en una articulación orientada a responder a distintos intereses. Esse artigo apresenta percursos de elaboração de pesquisas e formação de pesquisadores indígenas e não-indígenas a partir de experiências envolvendo o povo indígena Xakriabá, partindo da problematização de uma investigação científica segmentada entre as etapas de proposição da pesquisa, desenvolvimento, identificação de possíveis “aplicações” e, posteriormente, a proposição de “retornos” ou “contrapartidas” aos grupos envolvidos. Busca focalizar o aprender a fazer pesquisa em co-presença com os que são diretamente afetados pelas consequências da situação de investigação, como uma prática de “autorregulação” da produção científica. Parte da proposição revistada de “comunidades de prática” (Lave, 2019) e a articula à noção de “práticas em comum” (Stengers, 2015) para explorar, em diferentes cenários de pesquisa, a forma como as relações definem o enquadramento situado da investigação, assim como dão lugar a uma composição de práticas que reúne praticantes diferentes em uma articulação que se propõe a responder a diferentes interesses.
