This paper analyzes and reflects on the process of preparation and presentation in the territory of four volumes entitled “Papeles y memorias. Documents, state records and memories in the Mapuche communities of the Department of Aluminé”. They were made during 2022-2023 and presented in Aluminé, province of Neuquén (Argentina), during November 2023. We are interested, in this work, in (a) observing the relationship between the written state archives and the remoteness/proximity with the Mapuche communities of the region, (b) reflecting on the work of the researchers, the role of the state and the communities of the area and (c) analyzing the affectivities that emerge in the subjects that are questioned as a people, as a community and/or as a family from their memories in relation to the archives. Finally, we propose a reflection on the notion of frontiers and the archives that these frontiers have produced.

Este trabajo analiza y reflexiona el proceso de confección y presentación en el territorio de cuatro volúmenes titulados “Papeles y memorias. Documentos, registros estatales y memorias en las comunidades Mapuche del Departamento de Aluminé”. Los mismos fueron confeccionados durante 2022-2023 y presentados en Aluminé, provincia de Neuquén (Argentina), durante noviembre del 2023. Nos interesa, en este trabajo, (a) observar la relación entre los archivos estatales escritos y la lejanía/cercanía con las comunidades mapuche de la región, (b) reflexionar sobre el quehacer de lxs investigadoxs, el rol del estado y las comunidades de la zona y (c) analizar las afectividades que emergen en los sujetos que se ven interpelados como pueblo, como comunidad y/o como familia a partir de sus memorias en relación con los archivos. Finalmente, proponemos una reflexión en torno a la noción de fronteras y el/los archivos que esas fronteras han producido. Resumo Este artigo analisa e reflete sobre o processo de produção e apresentação no território de quatro volumes intitulados “Papeles y memorias. Documentos, registros estatais e memórias nas comunidades mapuches do Departamento de Aluminé”. Eles foram produzidos durante 2022-2023 e apresentados em Aluminé, província de Neuquén (Argentina), em novembro de 2023. Interessa-nos, neste trabalho, (a) observar a relação entre os arquivos escritos do Estado e o afastamento/proximidade das comunidades mapuches da região, (b) refletir sobre o trabalho dos pesquisadores, o papel do Estado e das comunidades da região e (c) analisar as afetividades que emergem nos sujeitos que são questionados como povo, como comunidade e/ou como família a partir de suas memórias em relação aos arquivos. Por fim, propomos uma reflexão sobre a noção de fronteiras e os arquivos que essas fronteiras produziram.
