The overall goal of our research is analyze the process of expansion of the agricultural frontier in the northwest Cordoba, Department of Cruz del Eje, to reconstruct the characteristics of small peasants units: the importance in the agrarian structure of the region, practices that allow them to be reproduced economically and socially and that domestic units become viable, and more specifically, its various articulation strategies and market participation; taking also into account the relationship of these peasant units with both provincial and national government policies.In this paper we propose to describe in detail the current state (year 2014) of access to the resources of rural communities in Cruz del Eje and identify the demographic strategies of settlements of families in historical perspective concluding with an analysis of the patterns (modalities) of production of the peasant sector in the region. |

El objetivo general de nuestra investigación es el de analizar el proceso de expansión de la frontera agraria en el noroeste cordobés, Departamento de Cruz del Eje, para reconstruir las características de las pequeñas unidades campesinas: su importancia dentro de la estructura agraria de la región, las prácticas que les permiten reproducirse económica y socialmente y que las convierten en unidades domésticas viables; y más precisamente, sus distintas estrategias de articulación y participación en el mercado; atendiendo asimismo, a la relación de estas unidades campesinas con las políticas estatales tanto provinciales como nacionales.En este trabajo nos proponemos describir detalladamente la situación actual (año 2014) de acceso a los recursos de las comunas campesinas en Cruz del Eje, e identificar las estrategias demográficas de los asentamientos de las familias desde una perspectiva histórica para concluir con un análisis sobre las modalidades de producción del sector campesino en la región. O objetivo geral da nossa pesquisa é analisar a expansão da fronteira agrícola no noroeste Córdoba, Departamento Cruz del Eje, para reconstruir as características das pequenas unidades camponesas: sua importância na estrutura agrária da região; as práticas que lhes permitam a reprodução econômica e social, e faz famílias unidades viáveis e, mais especificamente suas diversas estratégias de vinculação e participação no mercado prestando atenção também a relação destas unidades camponesas com as políticas do governo provincial e nacional.Neste estudo, procuramos descrever em detalhes o estado atual do acesso aos recursos das comunidades rurais em Cruz del Eje e identificar as estratégias demográficas dos assentamentos de famílias em perspectiva histórica concluindo com uma análise dos padrões de produção do setor camponês na região.
