The value chain is of vital importance for bus companies, since it allows a strategic analysis of their competitive advantages through an internal analysis of the activities that it develops. Thus, the services that it makes available to society, the value received by users and the contribution to mobility that these companies contribute to the land transport of travelers are studied in depth. The methodology of this study has been a combination of searching for qualitative and quantitative information, with the aim of staging the news of this sector in the province of Malaga. The primary activities related to putting the service on the market and its commercialization, and the support activities, those that support the operation and final service received by the passenger, were analyzed. The main objective is to determine the competitive advantages that Avanza Mobility ADO has over its main competitors. In addition, we have set other specific objectives, such as analyzing the actors in the company's value chain, to reach realistic results and conclusions, and help make better decisions in strategic actions and plans by operators and managers of said transport sector. La cadena de valor es de vital importancia para las empresas de autobuses, puesto que permite realizar un análisis estratégico de sus ventajas competitivas mediante un análisis interno de las actividades que esta desarrolla. Para ello se profundiza en los servicios que pone a disposición de la sociedad, el valor que recibe los usuarios y la aportación a la movilidad que ofrecen estas compañías al transporte terrestre de viajeros. La metodología de este estudio ha sido una combinación de búsqueda de información cualitativa y cuantitativa, con la finalidad de escenificar la actualidad de este sector en la provincia de Málaga. Se analizaron las actividades primarias relacionadas con la puesta del servicio al mercado y la comercialización de éste, y las actividades de apoyo, aquellas que sustentan la operatividad y servicio final que recibe el pasajero. El principal objetivo es determinar las ventajas competitivas con las que cuenta Avanza Mobility ADO frente a sus principales competidores. Además, nos hemos marcado otros objetivos específicos, como analizar los actores de la cadena de valor de la empresa, para alcanzar unos resultados y conclusiones realistas, y ayuden a tomar mejores decisiones en las acciones y planes estratégicos por parte de los operadores y gestores de dicho sector del transporte.
