It is a complex process of spatial transformation that was mainly expressed in the country through the spread of soybean cultivation, which extended its surface from 5 to 20 million hectares between 1990 and 2015. The present article aims to make a contribution to the study of the characteristics adopted by this phenomenon, taking as reference the case of the northern departments of the province of Cordoba (Rio Seco, Sobremonte and Tulumba) during that period. It focusses on the diffusion of new technical systems, considering the creation and restructuring of transport and storage infrastructures in the study area. It analyzes a set of technical objects that make viable -and evidence- the concretion of the project of occupation and use of the space of the large agroindustrial companies, whose main purpose is to ensure a greater movement and fluidity for the export of agricultural commodities. La expansión territorial del modelo productivo de los agronegocios marcó en la Argentina de fines del siglo XX la apertura de las denominadas fronteras agrarias modernas. Se trata de un complejo proceso de transformación espacial que se expresó fundamentalmente en el país a través de la difusión del cultivo de la soja, que amplió su extensión de 5 a 20 millones de hectáreas entre los años 1990 y 2015. El presente trabajo pretende contribuir al estudio de las características adoptadas por este fenómeno, tomando como referencia el caso de los departamentos del norte de la provincia de Córdoba (Río Seco, Sobremonte y Tulumba) en dicho período. Se centra la atención sobre la difusión de nuevos sistemas técnicos, considerando la creación y reestructuración de infraestructuras de transporte y almacenamiento en el área de estudio. Se analiza un conjunto de objetos técnicos que viabilizan -y evidencian- la concreción del proyecto de ocupación y uso del espacio de las grandes empresas agroindustriales, cuyo fin principal consiste en asegurar un mayor movimiento y fluidez para la exportación de commodities agrícolas.
