For this purpose, the methodology suggested by the Ministry of Territorial Urban Agrarian Development was partially followed. 400 surveys were applied to cyclists whose this medium as a work tool either to travel to their Jobs or to carry out work-related activities. It was concluded that the profile of the cyclists of the municipality of Tehuacán, is determined by their income, as well as by the region that is part of the social division of labor in México, which has been assigned a role related to the commerce, services and maquila. El objetivo del artículo fue analizar el Perfil Social de las y los Ciclistas del Municipio de Tehuacán. Para el efecto se siguió, parcialmente, la metodología que sugiere la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario Territorial y Urbano, México. Se aplicaron 400 encuestas a las y los ciclistas que utilizan este medio como una herramienta de trabajo ya sea para desplazarse a sus empleos o para efectuar actividades relacionadas con sus rutinas de trabajo. Se concluyó que el perfil ciclista en el municipio de Tehuacán está determinado por sus ingresos, así como por la región que es parte de la división social del trabajo en México, al que se le ha asignado un rol relacionado con el comercio, los servicios y la maquila.
