The aim of the paper is to analyze the perspective of public primary school principals on CSE in the school curriculum, and to understand how it was implemented in the face of the various challenges that arise. We explore the discourses of experiences about the strategies adopted and the difficulties that emerge, in the pedagogical plots and links. The research was carried out from a qualitative methodology; the discourse of principals from different geographical regions of the province was investigated through the application of semi-structured interviews, group interviews and workshops. The main findings show that the directors face challenges in the implementation of the ESI, they warn that teaching the contents of this law, revealed some formative shortcomings in the training processes that were provided by the state, when its application was announced. In addition to this, there are prejudices, both their own and those of many teachers. Finally, they express that the solution to these challenges requires an approach that combines continuous training, reflection on practice and collaborative support to ensure their effective inclusion. Resumen Este artículo presenta resultados de proyectos de investigación sobre Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) en la Provincia de Jujuy, Argentina, que venimos ejecutando desde la Universidad Nacional de Jujuy. El trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la perspectiva de directores de escuelas primarias de gestión pública sobre la ESI en el currículo escolar, y comprender cómo se implementó frente a los diversos desafíos que surgen. Exploramos los discursos de experiencias acerca de las estrategias adoptadas y las dificultades que emergen, en las tramas y vínculos pedagógicos. La investigación se realizó desde una metodología cualitativa; se indagó el discurso de directores de diferentes regiones geográficas de la provincia, a través de la aplicación de entrevistas semiestructuradas, entrevistas grupales y talleres. Los principales hallazgos muestran que las y los directivos enfrentan desafíos en la implementación de la ESI, advierten que enseñar los contenidos de esta ley, desnudo algunas falencias formativas, en los procesos de capacitación que se impartieron desde el Estado, cuando se anunció su aplicación. A esto, se suman los prejuicios, tanto propios como de muchos docentes. Finalmente, expresan que la salida de estos desafíos, requiere un enfoque que combine la formación continua, reflexión de la práctica y apoyo colaborativo para garantizar su efectiva inclusión.
