Starting from thinking about the work of educating in institutional terms, we ask ourselves about the subjective relationships that teachers build and display with it. To do this, we analyze the characteristics of the institutional contexts in which these practices are enrolled, the positions of teachers and students, the exchange and meeting modalities that were being configured, the place of the class and the group, etc. From there, we problematize the quality of underpinning and support of the institutional conditions that are recognized in each case. En este artículo se presentan algunos avances de una línea de investigación que analiza la reconstrucción que los docentes de escuelas secundarias hacen de su trabajo en tiempos de pandemia. A partir de pensar el trabajo de educar en términos institucionales nos preguntamos por las relaciones subjetivas que lxs profesores construyen y despliegan con el mismo. Para ello, analizamos las características de los contextos institucionales en los cuales se inscriben esas prácticas, las posiciones de profesorxs y estudiantxs, las modalidades de intercambio y encuentro que se fueron configurando, el lugar de la clase y el grupo, etc. Desde allí, problematizamos la cualidad de apuntalamiento y sostén de las condiciones institucionales que en cada caso se reconocen.
