In this article, it is going to inquire about the Yugoslav and partisan identity and ponder how the diversity was an element that went hand in hand with the union of the people for the defense of their land. Approaching Maria Todorova, Néstor Garcia Canclini and other authors, it is going to think about the multicultural and hybridization in the region, to then raise the importance of literary production by those who were either social actors or participants in the war. In this way, it seeks to provide starting points of the importance for a research about the partisan literature as new literary genre, and one of the basis in the new project of a socialist nation among the South Slavic people. La Segunda Guerra Mundial en el territorio yugoslavo motivó la resistencia popular, base del futuro Estado nacional socialista en esa región. El movimiento partisano debió enfrentar amenazas internas y externas, pero ¿quiénes eran estos partisanos y cómo se volvieron actores centrales y héroes en la República Popular de Yugoslavia posteriormente? En el presente trabajo, se indaga sobre la identidad yugoslava y partisana, y se reflexiona cómo la diversidad ha sido un elemento que fue de la mano a la unión del pueblo para la defensa de su tierra. Tomando a Maria Todorova y Néstor García Canclini, entre otros teóricos, se aborda lo multicultural y la hibridación de la región, para luego plantear la importancia de la producción literaria de quienes fueron actores sociales y partícipes del conflicto bélico. De esta manera, se buscan puntos de partida para una investigación de una literatura partisana que da lugar a un nuevo género literario, y una de las bases en el nuevo proyecto de nación socialista entre los eslavos del sur.
