It is analized the philosophical foundations of the concept, the various aspects in relation to which it makes sense in the Russian and Slovenian cultural context, its application in some of the main literary and philosophical works of comparatively Slovenian and Russian literature, and the European ideological context. En el artículo se analiza la importancia del tópico del eslavo vagabundo o eslavo errante, y el motivo del deambular, el vagabundeo o errancia, en relación con la conformación de la identidad nacional rusa, y su aplicación posterior a todo el ámbito cultural eslavo como problema central de las literaturas, a partir del cual el teórico literario esloveno Ivan Prijatelj propone definir el carácter específico de la identidad eslava a comienzos del siglo XX. Se analizan los fundamentos filosóficos del concepto, los diversos aspectos en relación con los cuales produce sentido en el contexto cultural ruso y esloveno, su aplicación en algunas de las principales obras literarias y filosóficas de la literatura eslovena y rusa comparativamente, y el contexto ideológico europeo.
